Distribution : Borneo, Indonesia, Phillipines, Australia.

Remarks : One of the three national flowers of Indonesia. Locally known to the Indonesian as "Anggrek Bulan" meaning Moon Orchid. It is perhaps the most used species in Phalaenopsis and Doritaenopsis hybridisation.
